This position primarily involves the inspection, repair, overhaul, and testing of industrial gearboxes and other rotating equipment such as pumps, blowers, and fans, with work conducted predominantly in the workshop and occasional travel to customer sites when required.

Dismantle, inspect, and assess gearboxes and other rotating equipment for wear, damage, and failure causes.
Conduct repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds of various gearbox types (helical, bevel, planetary, worm drive, etc.).
Perform repairs on centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, blowers, and fans.
Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, dial gauges, etc.) to ensure dimensional tolerances and alignment.
Clean components and prepare parts for reassembly following proper procedures.
Assemble overhauled equipment with attention to detail and manufacturer specifications.
Conduct functional testing, noise/vibration analysis, and run-in testing of equipment when required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
